Jason Pierre-Paul Is Active For Giants, Jacobs Replaces Hillis
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is active for the New York Giants' game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
Pierre-Paul hurt a shoulder last weekend against Oakland and did not practice until Friday.
Packers cornerback Sam Shields, who had started every game this season, is not going to play because of a hamstring injury. He was listed as probable Friday despite not practicing.
Also inactive for the Packers are quarterback Aaron Rodgers, linebacker Nick Perry and offensive tackle Don Barclay.
Scott Tolzien is making his first NFL start for the Packers with Rodgers missing his second game with a fractured collarbone.
Marshall Newhouse replaced Barclay at tackle and Neal started for Perry for the fourth straight week.
