Jackknifed Truck Causes Traffic Woes On N.Y. State Thruway
WEST NYACK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A jackknifed tractor trailer snagged the New York State Thruway in West Nyack Monday evening.
As CBS 2's Joe Biermann reported, the truck jackknifed and left a major fuel spill on the northbound Thruway.
Outbound Thruway traffic was backed up from the Tappan Zee Bridge solid to Exit 12.
As of 5 p.m., crews were awaiting wreckers and cleaning crews for the fuel spill.
