Around 20,000 Ivanka Trump Scarves Recalled Due To Burn Risk

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York-based GBG Accessories group is recalling around 20,000 Ivanka Trump scarves because they do not meet the federal standards for flammability, making the product susceptible to burns.

The recall affects the "Blue Wave" scarf in blue, coral and yellow and the "Brushstoke Oblong" scarf in blue, red, neutral and green, according to the company. Both varieties are 76 inches long and 24 inches wide and have the label "Ivanka Trump" sewn into the edge.

The scarves were sold at Century 21, Lord and Taylor, Marshall's, Stein Mart and TJ Maxx retail locations, as well as on Amazon and Loehmanns.com from October 2014 to January 2016.

The scarves retailed between $12 and $68, according to the company.

GBG Accessories is asking anyone who purchased a scarf to return it to their place of purchase for a refund.
