It's Raining Rocks On One Queens Neighborhood
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) - Longtime residents of a section of Astoria say falling rocks and debris have always been an issue, but recent track work high overhead leaves you feeling like a moving target.

Michael Paratori's patio table recently fell victim.
"They break skylights. They break car windows," Paratori tells WCBS 880 reporter Paul Murnane. "But, there was one day, I remember, I was at my kitchen window and I could see rocks falling like rain."
The area is located on 23rd Street south of Ditmars Boulevard.
Assemblyman Michael Gianaris tells WABC-TV that Amtrak has yet to respond to neighborhood concerns.
Paratori thinks a lot of the track work has been wrapped up now and the worst of this may be over.
