Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Bloomberg Visit World Trade Center Memorial
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Mayor Michael Bloomberg visited the 9/11 memorial with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The two spent about 40 minutes at the memorial Thursday night. Netanyahu touched the names of the Israeli citizens killed in the attacks and placed a wreath at the southwest corner of the Southern Pool.
Bloomberg says Netanyahu called the memorial "unbelievable'' and said it was very moving.
Netanyahu's wife, 9/11 memorial president Joe Daniels and memorial designer Michael Arad were also there for the visit.
