Is A Long Island Neighborhood Toxic?
COPIAGUE, NY (WCBS 880) - Health concerns have led to air testing in some homes on Long Island.

Eight years after chemical pollution was discovered in ground water in a Copiague neighborhood, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is testing air quality in and around nearby homes.
It's believed a toxic plume is coming from an abandoned industrial site, which is directly across the street from a man's house.
"I would like to see them taking care of the problem," the man told WCBS 880 Long Island Bureau Chief Mike Xirinachs. "I would like to see them remove the soil if it's contaminated... Get rid of it all at once."
Residents say they worry about possible health effects from the pollution.
EPA officials say it's unclear whether the contamination poses any health risk.
