Interfaith Service To Be Held In Wake Of Bergen County Synagogue Attacks
RUTHERFORD, NJ (WCBS 880) - For Rabbi Nosson Schuman and his wife, it's getting a little easier to sleep in their bedroom again.

"Thankfully we were saved. I feel like my bedroom is not necessarily a place of attempted murder, but divine grace. How many things worked out that I shouldn't be murdered?" he said Friday morning.
He was able to snuff out the flames from the Molotov cocktail thrown through his window above his synagogue.
The rabbi is grateful for the continued police presence and he applauds the promise of routine patrols at all Bergen County synagogues.
Police are still standing guard outside his synagogue - Temple Beth El in Rutherford.
"It's a horrific thing that happened, but some better protection will come out of it, also heightened awareness. The synagogues will also now know how to protect themselves better in the future," he told WCBS 880 reporter Sean Adams.
It's been a surreal experience for the rabbi, his wife, and their five children.
Calls have been coming in from all around the world.
The rabbi is looking forward to a interfaith service, a chance to sing, pray, and unite together against hate. The service is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday. It was planned for Temple Beth-El, but might be moved to a larger location.
The rabbi believes the criminals who attacked him will eventually be caught.
The Anti-Defamation League today raised to $7,500 its reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a spate of increasingly violent hate crimes in Bergen County.
