Hunt Is On For Suspect In Fatal Irvington Shooting
IRVINGTON, N.J.(CBSNewYork) -- A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man wanted in connection with the shooting deaths of three people at an Irvington bar.
Shortly after midnight on December 25, Pierre Clervoyant, 34, of Elizabeth, Woodley Daniel, 32, of Hillside, and Mushir Cureton, 27, of Newark were shot and killed at Slick's Go-Go Bar on Nye Ave in Irvington.
Two other people were shot and injured in the incident authorities said.
The shooting apparently stemmed from a dispute at the door, authorities said.
"It appears the gunman was trying to enter the bar armed and was stopped by the bouncer," said Chief Anthony Ambrose of the Essex County Prosecutor's Office.
On Tuesday, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office announced that a warrant had been issued for Anthony Fields, 19, of Newark. Fields has been accused of three counts of murder, possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
