Human Remains Found In Suitcase In Newark
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Human remains have been discovered inside a suitcase near the Passaic River in Newark, authorities said.
The remains were found near Raymond Boulevard and Van Buren Street not far from Penn Station.
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office said police discovered the remains after receiving a telephone call.
The Newark police department and the prosecutor's office are investigating.
More details are expected to be released Monday.
