Huge Marijuana Grow Operation Busted On Staten Island
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - Federal authorities say they've uncovered a $10-million-a-year marijuana farm hidden inside a garage, according to a report.
The Staten Island Advance reported Drug Enforcement Agents raided the garage at 3075 Veterans Road West.
The garage reportedly contained a massive hydroponic pot farm.
Two men were arrested. The Advance reports they are Keith Levine, 33, of Bayard Street in Brooklyn and Michael Arroyo, 37, of Alpine Avenue in Sunnyside.
Some 450 plants were recovered.
