The Yankees honored their late 'Boss' last night at the stadium, unveiling a huge, and we mean HUGE monument to George Steinbrenner. Joe Torre and Don Mattingly made the trip from Los Angeles, and the entire Yankees' squad made the trip out to Monument Park prior to first pitch.
Curtis Granderson and Derek Jeter made Steinbrenner proud by leading an intense victory over the AL East rival Tampa Bay Rays.
Speaking of Torre, would the Yankee legend actually return to manage the Mets? Joe wouldn't rule it out on Monday...
