Holiday Shipping Rates And Dates: FedEx, UPS And U.S. Postal Service Deadlines
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- With Christmas and Chanukah a little over a week away, the deadline to ship holiday packages is coming fast -- if you want them to arrive on time.
Christmas falls one week from this Sunday, and Chanukah begins the week of Saturday, Dec. 24.

At the U.S. Post Office, you have until Dec. 15 to ship your packages if you're using their least expensive ground service.
FedEx has a Friday, Dec. 16 deadline for their standard ground service.
UPS gives you a couple extra days -- you have until Monday, Dec. 19 to take advantage of their 3-day select service.
For those on a tighter schedule, UPS and FedEx will let you ship all the way up to Dec. 23, but that fast delivery will cost you a lot more.
