High-Speed Police Chase Ends In Crash, Arrest In Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A high-speed chase through the streets of Queens ended with an arrest and the seizure of three loaded guns, police said.
Around 5 p.m. Wednesday, police said narcotics officers in South Jamaica had tried to pull over a blue 2009 Dodge Avenger sedan but the vehicle sped off instead and ended up crashing into a parked minivan on 149th Street.
After the wreck, three suspects inside the vehicle attempted to flee the scene, police said.
One of the suspects, 27-year-old James Graham, was caught behind a nearby home and taken to Jamaica Hospital for minor injuries.
Graham is charged with gun possession, reckless endangerment and fleeing from police.
A fully loaded AR-15 rifle and two fully loaded .380 caliber firearms were recovered from the vehicle, police said.
