Heyman: Logan Gets 3 Years, $16.5 Million From Rockies
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Former Yankees reliever Boone Logan has agreed a three-year, $16.5 million deal with the Colorado Rockies, according to WFAN/CBS Sports baseball insider Jon Heyman.
The Rockies were eager to address their need for lefty bullpen help and Logan proved to be an attractive option. In four years with the Yankees, Logan went 19-7 with a 3.38 ERA in 256 relief appearances.
In his final season with the Bombers, Logan finished 5-2 with a 3.23 ERA in 61 games.
The Rockies added ex-Met LaTroy Hawkins earlier this offseason as part of their revamped bullpen. Hawkins agreed to a one year, $2.5 million contract with Colorado on November 19, 2013.
