Hepatitis Scare At Lawrence Hospital In Bronxville
BRONXVILLE, NY (WCBS 880) - Ten patients who had surgery at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville in January are now being told that they need to get tested for Hepatitis B, C and the HIV virus.
WCBS 880's Catherine Cioffi reports the warning comes after the hospital officials notified the state that nine surgical trays were not correctly sterilized.
The testing will be done for free at Lawrence Hospital for those patients.

This is the second warning in the Hudson Valley.
In January, patients at Rockland Psychiatric were also told by the state they may have been exposed to contaminated tools.
