Rangers' Lundqvist Leaves Game After Getting Hit By Teammate's Stick In Right Eye

PITTSBURGH (CBSNewYork) -- There was a big scare Wednesday night for the New York Rangers in Game 1 of their playoff series against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Goalie Henrik Lundqvist had to leave the game after getting hit in his right eye by the stick of his teammate, Marc Staal, with just under 50 seconds left in the first period.

Lundqvist immediately went down. He was treated by the team's medical staff and stayed in for the rest of the period,  giving up a goal with 17 seconds left to Patric Hornqvist.

Lundqvist did not return for the second and was replaced by Antii Raanta.

The Rangers lost the game 5-2.
