Gunfire At L.I. Bar Leaves 5 Wounded
BAY SHORE, N.Y. (AP) -- Police said five people were struck by flying bullets outside a Long Island bar when two men began shooting in the parking lot.
The gunfire broke out at around 2 a.m. Saturday outside a bar in Bay Shore.
Suffolk County police said a group of men had been arguing. Two pulled handguns and began firing.
Three young women standing outside the bar were hit in the legs. A 19-year-old man was hit in the thigh. A 27-year-old man suffered a calf wound.
All were treated at area hospitals and released.
Police were hunting for the two men involved in the gunplay.
