Gov. Christie Heads To Iowa To Campaign For Mitt Romney
TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is heading back to Iowa to stump for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
The Romney campaign says Christie will head to Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, and Dubuque on Friday to meet with voters.
The trip marks the second time Christie has traveled to Iowa for Romney. Earlier this month, he raised more than $1.1 million for Romney at a fundraiser in Parsippany.
Christie endorsed the former Massachusetts governor in October shortly after deciding that he didn't want to run for the White House himself in 2012.
