Giants' Running Back Andre Brown Done For Season
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Andre Brown's season is over after suffering a broken fibula in the Giants' Sunday night 38-10 victory over the Packers.
Tom Coughlin told NFL.com that Brown is done for the season.
"It will be a tough loss, he is an important player," Eli Manning said after game.
Brown was injured after a 16-yard gain in the fourth quarter and did not return to the game. He leads the Giants with 8 touchdowns and has rushed for 385 yards on 73 carries.
Tom Coughlin will be forced to give rookie running back David Wilson more carries, especially as Bradshaw has been hampered by a lingering foot injury.
Wilson has rushed for 102 yards on 24 attempts for an average of 4.3 yards per carry.
Coughlin has been reluctant to give Wilson time at running back because of his struggles in pass protection.
Can Wilson step up and adequately replace Brown? Sound off below...
