Giant RB Ahmad Bradshaw Practices, May Play Vs. Packers
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New York Giants offense may get a little help against Green Bay Packers with running back Ahmad Bradshaw possibly returning to the lineup for the first time since late last month.
Bradshaw practiced Friday for the first time since breaking a bone in his right foot in a game against Miami and said he was ready to go for Sunday's game against the Packers (11-0) at MetLife Stadium.
Coach Tom Coughlin was a little more cautious. While saying Bradshaw looked good, he wants to see how the fifth-year running back's foot feels Saturday and whether doctors will give him the OK to play.
The Giants have the NFL's worst rushing attack, averaging 83.2 yards. They have gained 195 yards rushing in the three games Bradshaw missed.
