Gene Simmons Talks Religion, Says 'A Lack Of Money Is The Root Of All Evil'
This installment of All Business with Jeffrey Hayzlett features the marketing legend sitting down for a raucous conversation with The Demon himself, Gene Simmons. The always overconfident KISS front man had some interesting and controversial things to say about his career as a rock star, the issue of illegal downloading, and what it takes to make it in America.
On the subject of his 40-plus year career as a rock star, Simmons said that he views KISS primarily as a way to generate wealth. The rocker also said that he's pessimistic about the future of the music industry because illegal downloading has devalued music for an entire generation. Still on the topic of music, Simmons did offer up praise for Taylor Swift and Garth Brooks...but not for their musical talent.
In a surprising twist, noted conservative Gene Simmons revealed that he has a somewhat more liberal view on income inequality. Simmons said that one of his pet peeves is when people use the commonly paraphrased Bible quote "Money is the root of all evil." Gene believes that a lack of money pushes people into criminality, and that "a lack of money is the root of all evil." Clinton/Simmons 2016?
