Gary Sinise Helps Wounded Brooklyn Soldier Get Specialized Home
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - When Bryan Dilberian of Brooklyn was serving in Afghanistan, he lost both legs and an arm to an explosion. Now plans are in the works to build him a new home, one that would enable him to be independent.

Some of the money is being raised through the the Gary Sinise Foundation, as well as the Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Foundation.
"We design these homes specifically for their needs, to help their life more manageable," actor Gary Sinise told WCBS 880 reporter Peter Haskell on Tuesday.
Dilberian grew up in Kensington and his mother Mary Jane says he's anxious to come home.
"His mind is so focused on just getting better and healing and getting on with his life," she said. "He never regrets his decision. He doesn't regret it now. As a matter of fact, he tells us he'd do it again if he had the chance."
The 26-year-old is still being treated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
Sinise says he has seen what this work does for the recipients.
"It's hope. It means hope for the future," he said.
His Lt. Dan Band will hold a benefit concert on April 27.
