Former Local Official Shares Thoughts On Obama's Second Term
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- After an inside look at the Obama administration, a former local official had some thoughts on the president's second term.
As WCBS 880's Peter Haskell reported, President Barack Obama's first term was historic, but Adolpho Carrion – Obama's former director of the Office of Urban Affairs and a former Bronx borough president – said the second term might be even more significant.
"This is legacy-building, and sort of what you leave behind," Carrion said.
"Those card games and beers that they suggest presidents should have with members of Congress, it's time to really start talking to these guys," he said.
Carrion now has his eye on City Hall.
