WCBS 880's Paul Murnane reports
At a reported $35 million, the sale price on Dunnellen Hall seems to be a nearly $100 million let-down from the original asking price.
But realtor Mark Pruner, who blogs on real estate at GreenwichStreets.com, says negotiations on price at this level can be extreme, and its sale after two years on the market may say something.
"I think it's a positive sign that this art money thinks prices are going up," Pruner told WCBS 880 reporter Paul Murnane.
The real estate commercial also boasts, "fourteen bedrooms, thirteen full baths, and four half-baths."
At least eight homes in this area are on the market for $20 million and above, but that's down from eleven homes, including the recent sale of Mel Gibson's place.
