Forecast: More Snow Saturday; Another Big Storm Next Week?
NEW YORK (CBS New York) -- As if there wasn't enough snow on the ground, a weak clipper will bring light snow to the Tri-State Area this weekend before another storm, which is right on its heels, brings even more.

A fresh coating to 2 inches is expected for parts of the Tri-State Area before the system moves out of the area on Saturday night. New York City needs just one more inch of the white stuff to have its snowiest month in history.
The city has received 56.1 inches this season, sixth most in its history.
Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high of 33. Monday and Tuesday will also see cooler temperatures in the mid 20s.

Next week, winter-fatigued residents can expect a new blast of cold air and possibly another significant snowstorm around Groundhog's Day, which could be coming from the Midwest.
While it's too early to project how many inches that storm could bring, CBS 2's Lonnie Quinn said it will be substantial.
