Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. announced the indictment of Kevin Clor on Wednesday.

The prosecutor says Clor worked out of his home office in Buffalo while representing Local 72.

The union represents more than 2,500 Thruway Authority employees, including toll collectors, grounds workers, janitors, painters and carpenters.

Clor is charged with grand larceny; 16 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument; and 16 counts of falsifying business records.

Clor's lawyer, Jeremy Saland, says the case is "filled with misinformation'' and "there is no fraud whatsoever.''
