Flood-Damaged Riverspace Theater Unlikely To Reopen
NYACK, NY (WCBS 880) - A Rockland County theater has likely closed its doors for good.

Calling it a sad day for Nyack, Riverspace board president Debbie Reich says the theater will most likely not be re-opening.
The theater was flooded back on June 23 with 450,000 gallons of water.
The piano was floating around, sludge covered all the seats, and the stage was completely destroyed.
Reich says this would cost over $100,000 to repair.
She says that's money they don't have and money they don't want to spend time raising, since the village of Nyack is already planning a major re-development of the area.
