Flight From Newark To Dublin Diverted To Boston
BOSTON (CBSNewYork) -- A United Airlines flight headed to Dublin from Newark Liberty International Airport was diverted to Boston Thursday evening due to a smoke issue.
United Flight 23 was diverted to Logan International Airport due to reports of smoke in the cabin, according to United.
The plane landed safely and without incident, United said.
All passengers will be re-accommodated and were to be en route to Dublin later Thursday night, the airline said.
There were 169 passengers and eight crew members on board, United said.
