Company: Make Money Off Your Car While You're Away On Vacation
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- If you drive to the airport and leave your car there, you might as well let someone else use it while you're gone -- right?
That is the concept behind a company called FlightCar, coming soon to Newark Liberty International Airport.
FlightCar is offering air travelers free airport parking and a car wash, but in exchange, you will be renting out your car for others to drive while you're away, 1010 WINS' John Montone reported.

William said he'd be willing to allow strangers to rent his 2011 Nissan while he's on vacation.
"That might be a way to go, you know, more or less depending on who you ask, that might be a great thing to do," he said.
Paul, from Red Bank, said he might consider renting his car, but with certain stipulations.
"You can eat whatever, but no smoking," he said. "I think it's a way to utilize these parked cars that are sitting here. It's a good idea in theory."
Drew was intrigued at first by the free parking, until he got to the part about renting his car out.
"Some people aren't as careful and as easy with the car, and drive over bumps or into potholes," he said.
If the car is rented, FlightCar pays the owner a mileage-based fee, NJ.com reported. But at the very least, anyone who signs up receives free parking and a car wash.
