NEWARK, N.J. (AP/CBS 2/WCBS 880) -- First lady Michelle Obama is bringing her children's fitness and healthy eating campaign to New Jersey.

Mrs. Obama will visit Newark Thursday afternoon to talk with students about how eating better and exercising more can improve their lives.
She'll be joined at the Maple Avenue School in the city's South Ward by Newark Mayor Cory Booker. Booker is honorary vice chairman of the Partnership for Healthy America.
The event is part of Mrs. Obama's "Let's Move'' initiative against childhood obesity.
