Fireworks To Light Up Sky Over Eisenhower Park In East Meadow On Saturday
EAST MEADOW, NY (WCBS 880) - Not everywhere waits until July 4th to start setting off fireworks and that's the case at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, Long Island.
WCBS 880's Sophia Hall got to see a preview of the show and she says it's going to be spectacular.

"Tickets are required for admission to the theater and are available free of charge at an any TD Bank on Long Island. There is no formal seating. Residents should bring blankets or chairs," says Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano.
The show will be held Saturday night, July 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater.

In addition to the fireworks, a Bon Jovi tribute band will perform.
Mangano also reminds everyone that possessing fireworks is illegal in New York and that includes sparklers.
