Fire Sweeps Through Supermarket, Laundromat In Harlem
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- No injuries were reported Sunday night when an extra-alarm fire ripped through a grocery store and Laundromat in Harlem.
The fire broke shortly after 7:30 p.m. Sunday at 1440 Amsterdam Ave. in the Manhattanville subsection of Harlem, which houses a Super Associated Supermarket and a Miss Bubble Laundromat.
The blaze in the one-story building was raised to three alarms, fire officials said.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
Firefighters continued to battle the blaze hours later.
