Fire At Hotel Outside Of DC Destroys Belongings, Sends Students Home Early
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- A fire just outside of Washington D.C. cut a field trip short and destroyed most of the belongings of about 100 Queens high school students.
Firefighters said the blaze sent about 200 people running on Sunday morning. Half of those were students with Aviation High School in Long Island City.
The students were on a Junior ROTC trip, but had to come home early because of the fire.
CBS2 has been told that nobody was hurt.
