Festival Of Trees Wraps Up Its Annual Cerebral Palsy Benefit
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – The 22nd annual Long Island Festival of Trees wrapped up this weekend in Garden City with the young and the young at heart all dazzled with the bright, colorful decorated Christmas trees at the Cradle of Aviation Museum.

The beautiful holiday display raises money for the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County and organizers have high hopes for this year's fundraiser.
"Our hope is that it's going to raise about $150,000," Charles Evdos said.
One family bought one of the trees complete with an angel on top for $2,000.
"There are 32 large trees and over 300 small trees that are all for sale," Evdos said. "Each tree has a theme like New York City."
Fran Galante brought her three grandchildren. She called it magical.
"It is really beautiful," Galante said. "I mean it's amazing how artistic each and every tree is with the different theme."
The event ends at 6 p.m. at 1 Davis Ave. in Garden City.
