Female NYPD Officer Caught In Crossfire During East New York Shootout
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A New York City police officer was shot and wounded Monday afternoon in East New York.
The shooting occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Linden Boulevard. The female officer was apparently caught up in crossfire during a shootout, CBS 2 reported.
The officer was taken to Kings County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating the shooting and looking for suspects.
