Feds, Local SWAT Teams Make Arrests In Hartford
HARTFORD, Conn. (CBSNewYork/AP) - Federal agents and local police SWAT teams have arrested several people on drug charges during morning raids in Hartford.
Hartford police say city officers and agents with the FBI and Drug Enforcement Administration were involved in Thursday morning's raids on Zion Street and other locations.
Hartford police Lt. Brian Foley says authorities executed warrants for several people. Their names haven't been released.
Authorities were heavily armed on Zion Street and brought SWAT vehicles and ambulances to the scene. No injuries were reported.
Law enforcement officials were expected to release more information later in the day.
