Car Fire Disrupts Traffic On FDR Drive
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Traffic on the FDR Drive was snagged early Sunday evening after a car caught fire.
The FDNY was called at 5:33 p.m. for a car fire on the FDR Drive at 96th Street, officials told CBS2.
The fire was out by 6:18 p.m. There were no injuries, the FDNY said.
All northbound lanes of the FDR Drive were shut down at 96th Street during the fire, but the lanes later reopened.
Residual delays were expected, according to the Office of Emergency Management.
