FBI: 'One Glove Bandit' Strikes Again, Robbing Bank In Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The FBI says a bank robbery suspect dubbed by investigators as the "One Glove Bandit" robbed a bank for the third time in New York City on Friday.
The latest robbery happened at a Chase Bank in Flushing, Queens just before 9 a.m. Friday. Officials say the suspect walked in with a gun, pointed it at bank staff and demanded money.
He then took off on foot with a large amount of cash.
The FBI says his previous two robberies were at a bank in Brooklyn. They say he robbed Signature Bank on May 6 and again on July 1. Officials say in those bank robberies, he wore a glove on just one of his hands.
During Friday's bank robbery in Queens, the suspect was seen wearing a blue Yankees hat, sunglasses and a blue and black plaid shirt. The FBI describes him as a dark-skinned Hispanic man in his 30s, 5'8" and around 200 pounds.
