Eye On New York: On A Man's Fight For His Son
NEW YORK (CBS 2) – When David Goldman's five-year fight to bring his son, Sean, home from Brazil finally ended, it was an emotional reunion and return to Tinton Falls, N.J.
Sean had been taken there by Goldman's wife, who quickly divorced him and married into a powerful Brazilian family. Even after she died, her family successfully blocked Sean's return through a maze of legal maneuvers.
But in the end, an upper court decision gave David Goldman his son back.
CBS 2's Don Dahler spoke with Goldman a few days ago to see how they're doing and to talk about his new book about the ordeal, entitled "A Father's Love."
