Exclusive: Giuliani's Official Portrait Goes Up Tuesday
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) - In 2005, artist Everett Raymond Kinstler received the commission to do the official City Hall portrait of Rudy Giuliani.

"I was very pleased about this because, as a New Yorker - I was born in Manhattan - I think he was a great mayor and it was a portrait I really wanted to paint," Kinstler told WCBS 880 City Hall reporter Rich Lamb. "It was arranged that he would sit for the portrait and we arranged for sittings at my studio at the National Arts Club on Gramercy Park."
Giuliani sat twice in 2006. A Presidential campaign and a globetrotting business schedule intervened. They got restarted in 2009 and, at long last, a smiling portrait of the 107th mayor of New York City will be hung on Tuesday.
