Eva Longoria Pregnant With Mark Sanchez's Child? Actress' Rep Says No Way
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- We're only four games into the season, and already it's been a rough go for Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.
He's had to endure constant questions about his starting role and the possibility of losing it to backup Tim Tebow. And now there's this: talk that 37-year-old girlfriend Eva Longoria could be pregnant with his child, rumors that a representative for the actress shot down as "absolutely not true."
The chatter started when Longoria appeared at a recent charity event in a tight black dress and was fueled by a Star magazine report, which said the "Desperate Housewives" star had been "dropping hints" she was with child, including "kick-starting a new healthy regime and giving up alcohol."
"Rumors of the couple being pregnant are false," a representative for Longoria told TMZ.
The issue even hit New York sports talk radio on Friday morning.
"In a weird way I feel bad for Mark about this," WFAN co-host Craig Carton said. "'Cause you know he's aware of it now, it's all over TMZ. That's how I found out about it.
"I didn't even know that the rumor was out there until I saw the denial of the rumor, you know what I mean? Like, you would think that I would have been hip to the rumor."
Carton's radio partner, ex-Jets quarterback Boomer Esiason, wasn't aware of it either. And let's just say he liked it that way.
"The fact that people are interested in it is just ridiculous," he said.
