Eternal Light Monument Cleaned Ahead Of Veterans Day Service
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- One of the city's most meaningful landmarks got a cleaning on Saturday, ahead of a landmark anniversary.
Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts spent the day scrubbing the Eternal Light Monument in Madison Square Park.
The memorial will turn 90-years-old on November 11 which is also Veterans Day.
The park will be the scene of a special Veterans Day service that will be held before the parade.
