Eric Trump Posts Ballot Picture To Twitter
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Donald Trump's son, Eric, tweeted out support for his father after casting his vote early Tuesday morning with a picture of his ballot.
There is one problem: it's illegal to take a photo of a completed ballot, according to New York state election laws.

"It is an incredible honor to vote for my father! He will do such a great job for the U.S.A! #MakeAmericaGreatAgain," the now-deleted tweet read.
Eric Trump appears to have violated the law, which would make him guilty of a misdemeanor. It's illegal in 18 states to take a picture of your ballot (or a ballot selfie).
New Jersey is also included on that list.
Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi (D-Utica) announced he'll introduce legislation to repeal the New York state ban on ballot selfies. Last week, a judge let the ban stand after a suit was filed challenging the 1890 law. The judge said lifting the ban just days before the election could cause disruptions at the polls. Brindisi said the photos should be allowed because they might encourage more young people to vote.
