Eli Manning On WFAN: Beckham Was Calm For The Most Part Sunday
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Eli Manning said Odell Beckham Jr.'s sideline outburst was not indicative of his overall demeanor during Sunday's game against Washington.
In his weekly appearance on Mike Francesa's WFAN show, the Giants quarterback said Beckham was calm all game. Manning said the Pro Bowl wide receiver only lost his cool after the Giants drove down to the Redskins' 5-yard line and the quarterback tossed an interception in the end zone.

Manning chalked up Beckham's fiery display on the sideline as his competitiveness shining through.
"He wanted to win the game," Manning said. "He wanted to play well.
"I thought he held his composure during the game. He went and played football. It wasn't about anything else. He got a little fired up one time, and he's just got to learn any little act is going to get blown up. He's just got to learn to keep it inside or just find a way to deal with."
