Elderly Long Island Man Still Missing
NEW YORK (CBS 2 / WCBS 880) -- Thousands of people took to the streets on Long Island to search for a man who went missing more than a week ago.

Around 3,000 volunteers worked their way through Riverhead Sunday to look for 65-year-old Steven Mayer.
He was last seen on October 4 at his home in Great Neck.
Mayer's wife said he may be suffering from dementia.
Although police said they have had several leads, at this point none has panned out.
