Drug Take-Back Yields Results In New Jersey
NEWARK, NJ (WCBS 880) - New Jerseyans handed in over 14,000 pounds of unused medicine during this past weekend's Operation Take-Back.

"That's over 7 tons," DEA Acting Special Agent in Charge John McCabe told WCBS 880 reporter Levon Putney.
McCabe said, "We're trying to eliminate the medicine cabinet as a potential source of abuse for our youth."
"Know what you have in your cabinet. The second thing is to secure your medicine," says State Partnership for a Drug Free America's Angelo Valente.
Valente says folks should also properly dispose of unused medicine.
One tip: McCabe says to let them sit in wet coffee grounds.
"The acid from the coffee grinds would actually decompose the chemicals," says McCabe. MacGuyver enters the war on drugs.
