Double Murder Suspect Andre Neverson Added To U.S. Marshal's Most Wanted List
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The suspect in a 2002 Brooklyn murder has been added to the U.S. Marshal's list of 15 most wanted fugitives.
Andre Neverson, 39, is wanted for the murder of his sister and ex-girlfriend. Neverson, a native of Trinidad and Tobago, is also sought for parole violation and illegal entry into the U.S.
"Andre Neverson has a history of violence and numerous prior convictions," said Assistant Director Bob Finan, head of the Marshals Service criminal investigaitons.
Back in July 2002, Neverson is believed to have shot his sister in the head and stomach before kidnapping his ex-girlfriend the next day, the Marshals Service said. Neverson's ex-girlfriend was found dead two days later.
Neverson was on parole for attempted murder during the killings, the Marshals Service said. He also previously served nearly five years in jail in New York and was deported in 2000, the Marshals Service said.
Neverson is black, 6'2", weighs about 240 pounds and has a muscular build.
