Domination! Craig Carton Wins 5th Pulse Of The People Award
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- One for the thumb! Craig Carton has done it again!
The co-host of WFAN's "Boomer & Carton" show won the Pulse of the People Award for an unprecedented fifth time on Monday.
"Wow!" Carton said. "It never gets old. Frankly, I had a great year representing the thoughts and the feelings of the average person and fan."

Carton beat out four other finalists: co-host Boomer Esiason, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, NFL analyst Phil Simms, and Mike Puma of the New York Post.
"Boomer shock-jocked his way (out of it)," Carton said during Monday's show. "Christie had no shot, obviously, after -- whether he was involved or not -- the whole bridge fiasco. Traffic. People hate traffic. Traffic is bad. (Boomer's) whole thing, you know, you got a little crazy. ... I was controversy-free this year, which was a good spot for me."
