Dog Finds Dead Body On Walk With Owner In Forest Park
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was walking his dog through Forest Park in Queens Sunday morning, when the dog came across a dead body.
Police were dispatched at 11:40 a.m. to Freedom Drive and Park South Drive, in Forest Park. The man told officers his dog had come across the body of a man wearing blue jeans and brown boots.
Police did not specify exactly where in the park or on the street the body was found.
The man the dog found was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity had not been released Sunday afternoon, and police had no information on how he died.
The investigation continued Sunday afternoon.
