NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man has been hospitalized after being attacked by a dog in the Bronx on Saturday.
Authorities say the FDNY responded to a call at a residence on Randall Avenue in Castle Hill at around 11:30 a.m.
The man was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with minor injuries, police said.
The dog is now in the care of Animal Care and Control in Manhattan.
Witnesses told CBS2 the man owns a pitbull, which turned on him outside.
